Nico has been going to workshops at COSI, our science center here in Columbus, since he was a baby. He started in infant workshops, then attended toddler workshops, and eventually graduated to preschool workshops when he turned three last summer. The preschool workshops are for children ages three to five, and after taking him to two of these workshops last fall we decided he was too young to fully take advantage of the class.
And so today, after a long hiatus, we returned to a COSI preschool workshop--dinosaurs! Nico was completely engaged and had a ball. His favorite activity was using the magnifying glass to explore fossils and other things. I was, as usual, amazed to see the difference that just a few months make when it comes to development.
