Every morning Nico asks me, "Where are we going to go today, Mommy?" I've conditioned the poor kid to constantly be on the go, always ready for a field trip. I wasn't sure where we would go when he first asked this morning. He asked Mark, too, and Daddy replied, "Why don't you stay home? Sometimes it's good to stay home and rest."
Never!
So we headed over to Newark and spent some time at The Works. Nico and Rocco both had a blast, and the highlight--of course--was the dragster. They played their little hearts out, and then we enjoyed some lunch right there at the museum. On the way out, Nico got to assist a resident artist in putting the finishing touches on a decoration that will be used for next week's courthouse lighting!
