Wildlights

I had planned to hold off Christmas activities so I could better focus Nico on learning about the meaning of Thanksgiving rather than pushing it aside to make way for Christmas trees and twinkle lights. Mother nature, however, presented me with an opportunity that I couldn't pass up. The temperature tonight at 7:00 was 64 degrees. The forecasted high temperature for this Friday? 34 degrees. Everything is more beautiful when you're not freezing your hiney off. So to the zoo we went for Wildlights...one box checked on our holiday to-do list! The boys had a great time. Rocco was mostly quiet and mesmerized and Nico was just plain hyper. He ran up to the hedges and trees, pointed to the lights and said, "Mommy, Robbie (his cousin) and I put these on here for you." Robbie lives in Maine. Wow, Robbie--thanks!
